YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWW WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I am so excited!!! No stupid ass cigarettes for me today!!!! I did pretty good this summer, smoking about 1/3 of what I normally did; I even had days where I did not smoke at all. But today was much different than those days. I feel very content, which is very odd because it is also day 5 AF. This is normally the day that I feel like ripping everyone's face off and I cave in. I am happy to report that everyone around me is still alive without any physical or mental damage.
These happy pills must be starting to work. And I still have a week and a half before I even get to the theraputic level. It is amazing that I have been living my life so miserable for so long and didn't even recognize it. I hope this is not just an upward swing. I realize that life has its ups and downs, but can we make it a 50/50 split at least?
I really need to learn to live on life's terms; this is my biggest challenge. I am a control freak, and I want everything my way, right NOW!!! I am sitting here happy, which is a great thing, but I need to not dwell on it, but just simply sit with it and appreciate it. If I dwell on the good, I most certainly will dwell on the bad and not let it pass through me for what it is: a bad moment.
So, thanks for letting me have a safe place to share. I am now NOT going to jump up and down with joy; I am going to sit down and read my book and appreciate everything that comes my way, both good and bad.

Losing weight

I also plan to drop a few pounds this month. Last time I went AF I let myself eat anything I wanted... Now I REALLY need to lay off the ice cream. Please don't tell me about any diets, I just need to eat less, especially snacks in the evening. My weight last night was 147 - yikes! That may not sound too bad, but I'm short.
