Good morning/afternoon all!!! I go back to work today, so I won't be on much. I have a rental car right now because my jeep has a boo-boo, and I finally get to pick it up today. Yea!!! Then I have to run errands (I was afraid in the rental because it is a beast of a truck, but I do feel pretty big and powerful in it though I am going to try to hit an AA meeting at 5:30, and then off to a really fun local short film show. Busy, busy, busy. That is the name of the game right now. AL can't bring us down if we don't have any time for his shananigans!!!!!

Here we go it is a great August 1, so happy to be doing this with all of you. Part of my plan will be to post something every day, whether I feel like it or not... To sit meditation and go for a walk every day... and I am working on putting together a playlist of songs that energize me and support sobriety, I think that will be helpful to put together on my ipod. Kinda like the hypno-recordings, actually!!

Sending the best of good thoughts to you, one and all.

It always feels like sacred ground , from day one and beyond.

The tears will start, they are warmer than when intoxicated. I systematically slammed down what remained, keeping it to the usual insane amount, making sure not to pass that because one bottle more screams, for again more, from the moment I awake and that puts me in severe danger as have been fighting, loss of work, dillusions, ridiculous amounts spent in the illusion.

Maybe August can mean that I feel the air more, that I know where things were placed, make a good memory of the phone calls, etc.
I am going to draw closer to the music, try to frequent more museums.

I feel lost, but, I know I am in here. There was a coloring book I saw whereas you just paint on the water and it brings out the colors already there.
Applying what ever soothing balm required to release what feels trapped.

Taking your hands, too.

Maybe we can just go for a walk from time to time and reflect.

Am listening and I care for you, in your own, unique, personal, precious manners of being.

Penguin: The Power of Team
The flightless fairy penguin of Australia stands less than a foot tall and is clumsy on land, where the fox is its natural enemy. Alone, one penguin wouldn't survive for long. agreed this summer has been crap for me too. i've spent over $5000 on misc expenses and have yet to have any fun. however, i am clear headed for the first time in... i'm not even sure how long!!

I just logged onto this first try. Sometimes it doesn't work, though, so you just need to try again later. You need to enter your screen name as well as password. It would be easy to forget your password since many of us use the "remember me" option when we come here to read and post, but I believe there is a feature on the User CP where your password can be sent to you. I think it works better when fewer people are logged on, which is early in the am for me (east coast USA).
