Hi There,
My first official concert was Elvis Costello - had a huge crush on him only to find out the same night he was going to marry CaitO'Riordan - oh well! - in terms of big oudoor concerts it was shortly after that - Self Aid which U2 played at so happy with that - it was great - my dad waited in the car outside so a bit uncool but glad he did!

Gosh,

It was either Jethro Tull with Long John Baldry or Black Sabbath.

I can't remember which I went to first.

I was a full fledged teenager before I was allowed to go to a concert. Strict parents.

My first concert was.....

My fist concert was from al ittle known australian band called majic dirt. I was about 15 and it was an under age gig. Only about 15 people turned up but it was still pretty memorable.

OMG- Gladys Knight and the Pips- I was about 13.

A year later I went to see Bob Marley and the Wailers- must of only been about 2 years before he died. I waited outside the concert hall for hours after to get his autograph, which my mum later threw away in a temper while tidying my room!

Sting in Edinburgh...
I'm not a great fan but I got a ticket for driving my BIL there. He's a Sting fanatic.
I went to see Supertramp in Glasgow though and I paid for that ticket.
