My first concert was.....
There has been alot of music threads this weekend and IAD posted about attending his first concert. It got me to thinking about my first concert. It was a Lynryd Skynyrd concert and I was in the 8th grade. I was only alllowed to attend because my older brother and his friends were going to. My parents obviously had no idea what kind of influence they were. Here is one from that concert.

My first concert was.....
My first concert was The Jam aged 11 in Liverpool at The Royal Court. This was there penultimate tour called The Bitterest Pill tour after the new single.

But My favourite concert will always be seeing Hawkwind at the same place in Liverpool during their Xenon Codex tour. Due to health and safety due to the size of the place they were not supposed to use the lasers in their light show but they did anyway with heaps of smoke. I was out my box on 'shrooms and loved every minute of it. Although after seeing the support band which I thought was Hawkwind as they sounded so similar I got up to leave as I thought it was over. I was on another planet that night and the smoke and lasers just did mad things in my head. I probably burned out my retinas that night!!lol

My favorite was the Live Aid concert I attended in Philadelphia in 1985. It was attended by 99,000 people. I remember thel adies rooms were so crowded we all decided to use the men's room. iI was so hot that the men had pulled all the pipes out so the plumbing was pouring out onto the floor. LOL A good time was had by all!!!
PS. I still have the T-shirt!!

My first concert was.....
Yepper Roger,,,it was in DC. I was not a screamer girl. I wanted to hear the Beatles!!!!!!!!
Did your wife and sister enjoy it? Even though it was too screamy, I loved every single note.
Is this the one the group "Cyrcle" opened for them? "Red Rubber Ball?"Noelle sez "Do want you like, like what you do. Life is Good."
