Went up for communion this morning in church and had to laugh as a great fat blue bottle fly perched itself on one of the communion vessels and began drinking the wine!!! The cheek! I watched as people took it in turns to bat it out of the way. A friend said, 'It's a good job it's not alcoholic wine, otherwise it'd be drunk...' I said, 'If it WAS alcoholic wine, it'd fall unconscious and eventually stop coming back for more.'
