    AF Army - 2nd September 2008

O2M - I think there's a few of us who are feeling crappy today.. dont stop posting! In a warped kind of way it makes me feel comforted to know that not ALL of the army is sailing through day 2.

Gia - my nerves are bad too. Someone beeped a car horn outside and I jumped out of my chair and banged my shin against my desk. A wine right now is something Im obsessing over... doesnt help with the bloody M&S adverts on TV... "This is no ordinary wine.... blah blah.."
?I am playing all the right notes... But not necessarily in the right order.....?

Stupid M&S... how dare they be inconsiderate! I'm really craving one too, doesn't matter what I drink, water, coffee, tea - doesn't make any difference, LOL! It's past lunchtime so I can't go out to the shop - I know that lemon fanta helps - it worked last time I set myself off looking at vodka on the internet - dumb ass!

Gone 2 hours and this thread has been busy, shew how to keep track of everyone?

O2m, grab a blanket and a hot drink and pile the kids in front of the TV for the afternoon while you try and get some "me" time.

Wally you made me giggle with that story of the L-Glut!!

Gia, hang in there! Tell those voices to p*ss right off

WIP, thanks for posting what Cinders said the other day, i have been searching high and low for it. Thanks again Cinders for your wise words.

Vladster, are you waiting for a sunny day to take that walk... I have it on good authority that they are few and far between on your side of the world.... sending some rays your way!

A colleague has just commented about how miserable it is outside! Yes Dee, we've had the wettest August since 1929 apparently.

Hey everybody (those on very early days AF)! Remember! Your mind/brain/body are busy re-adjusting to being without alcohol. They will not do that without complaining. Their complaints need not be taken seriously! Think of the complaints and urges and thoughts as if they were little children in the grocery store throwing tantrums because they WANT SOME CANDY RIGHT NOW!!! OK? We have to develop the internal voice of a Wise Mother (even though many of us never had one of those) who can gently say "No, honey, that's not good for you," and who can distract the outa control little monsters. Yard apes, as Ruby would say. Right, Ruby??
