One2many ---- glad to hear you're feeling better. I don't know what Shloer is, but I doubt we can get it here anyway. I just stocked up on Diet Tonic and a Cranberry/Raspberry drink I enjoy.
I also got myself back to the gym for the first time in ages (probably about 9 months since I did any workouts on a regular basis). I also just signed up for a weekly yoga (beginner) class. That will keep me busy Monday nights, and Wednesday nights is a bridge night for me. So, going to exercise my body and brain and get me out of the house so I won't be tempted by AL.
Having our summer weather here, finally, so going to play nine holes of golf at 5:00 pm and grab a bite to eat at the club. Temptation will be there to have a drink afterwards, but I'm rehearsing saying "Cranberry juice, please"!

They are still coming through. It's strange. He's getting 2 upper molars before he has all his front (canine) teeth. Should make for an interesting smile!Comment

Hi all,
My internet and phone have been down since Sunday -- just back up and running this morning.
I know my name was on the Sept. list, but I am just not as gung-ho as all of you right now. We had a really busy weekend (baby's b-day party), still cleaning, I am not at all organized for school yet, and I need to get my AD prescription refilled. Arrghh! I am feeling a little fragile right now.Comment

I'm so glad you are feeling better!!! I sent a PM to LTG and haven't heard from her yet. She lives in N Texas somewhere, so she might have felt the effects of the hurricane- I don't know. She hasn't been on since 8/31/08. I am concerned also.
We still need to hear from Zeppie, Gyco, Londoner,1967,Brightlite,Southernbelle,1More,Janie , Vinophille, Michaela, Lilnev and LTG; we hope all of you are doing well this day!

Good going, everyone!
I am just back from the psych hospital, Mother looks good, dressed and sitting up in a regular chair. But she thinks she's in a motel, and that she is going to "get up a bridge game" this evening. If you were to have a look at the other patients she is in there with, you would see that a bridge game is really, really not going to happen (of all the patients my mother is one of the most cognitively intact). She asked me to come back by this evening, and to "bring the Scotch," so we can have a drink before dinner. I said OK... Sad to say, she will of course not remember that "promise." But she is walking a little, and I am thinking I might be able to get her home in her own house by late this week... We'll see.
Off to work in a little bit, evening stuff to do at the Free Health Clinic.
