Firstly apologises for confusing everyone by starting the thread too early for most people but it was 2pm on Saturday afternoon for me. You guys just need to hurry up.

Hope every one is having a relaxed AF saturday, I'll enjoy my Sunday way over here on this side of the globe by myself as it looks like you guys are never going to catch up.

OK, instead of trying to re-create mushy peas with butterbeans and bacon grease, I fixed a curried potato salad with: steamed cauliflower, and boiled eggs, and chopped red onion, olive oil and mayonnaise, curry powder, of course the potatoes. Salt and a lot of pepper (good black pepper and red pepper, too). Chilled the whole thing. Extremely tasty.

Congratulations Kriger on 30 days!!!!! Great job!!!

I'm ready for bed and thought I'd have a read over before going to bed and I'm laughing my head off!!

Peas, peas,peas......my best friend here is from Ireland and whenever she goes home she brings me back several boxes of marrowfat peas. I love them. I think the brand she brings me is "Mother's". The box cracks me up as it has this wholesome picture of a mother on it. I don't share them with anyone so I keep the whole box to myself.
O2m... I'm also laughing at your "he does my head in...." that 's another expression my friend uses and it's perfect!!! If I told you howmany times my husband "did my head in" we'd be here all night. Hang tight and tomorrow will be different.

So many of us seem to be water logged. Does anybody have great weather?????? Zeppie... how about New Zealand ? California? I'll emigrate anywhere.....
