Corny as it sounds, chicken tonight is brill and easy to make o2m. Just buy 4 fresh chick breasts, put them in a pot, pop the sauce on top, stick it in the oven for an hour and thats it. Boil some new potatos. Instant meal for four!

Hello everyone

Wow - what a positive thread today (what ever day it is)

Starting - good work on taking up a course and don't put yourself down - what I have found is that if you set your mind to it you can do almost anything. It doesn't matter what you were like at school - I was a little shite at school and didn't do my senior year but still went to uni later in life and got my degree.

Well done Wally - soon you'll be half the frog you once were and it seems that O2M is heading towards being twice the leprechaun.

Krigs - congrats on handling the party, you can have a little giggle to yourself when the boozers stagger out of bed and feel like crud all day

One of them is cooking dinner for us tonight! They both seem to be doing pretty well but they don't remember much of last night! I repeat...I'm glad I'm not in their shoes today. How are you doing? Is it Monday there? This is day 14 for you? Way to Go!!

Hey Cymru ---- another tennis fan! I watched it too ---- amazing. The Women's final is on here in and hour and a half and it should be a good one. Will be staying up to watch that. I guess you'll get the results when you wake up!

Hi Krigs - yes Monday lunchtime here in NZ - Yes two weeks AF - half way through my 30 days YIPPEEE
Just busy getting the dogs washed and massaged for their races tomorrow

One thing I enjoy about being AF is the fact that I can remember the night before. I used to dread meeting up with people again and not even remembering talking to them before. Yikes

Hello Troops!!

Wow, like Gia, I simply do not have time to read through this whole thread but at a glance, it looks like we have got some soldiers getting a promotion!! :goodjob:

I just wanted to share that this weekend was one of the most incredible weekends I have ever had. My two grandsons stayed overnight last night with me, they stayed with me all day and we had so much fun.

Then my daughter, her hubby, my granddaughter and SIL's two sons (got two grandsons for free!!) came over. We ate hot dogs, chips, homemade macaroni and cheese and topped it off with some really awesome cheesecake. (If I do say so myself..)

Then daughter, SIL, ALL THE KIDS, and me went bowling.

I just got home. Yes, it was a late night for the kiddos since it is a school night but we figured it was okay just this once.

I have gone through this with one of my cluster headaches, which is horrible, but it truly did not detract from the incredible time I got to spend with my family.

I am sending thanks to you and God for my sobriety. I could never have done this during my drinking. Never.

What a waste of time. I could have been doing this kind of thing and enjoying life to its fullest.

I fly out tomorrow and will have some wonderful memories to keep me going for the week.

Cindi, that is just wonderful! I have to say this, and I hope you don't mind: you sound like a completely different person, these days, compared to how you sounded when I first arrived here at MWO 7 weeks ago... you just sound GREAT. I am so happy for you.
