Yes I would find it very hard to live in a conventional street with flats or houses again.

It's also great never getting a leccy bill (Electric bill for US army friends)

We have mains water, thank god, wouldn't like to go to a well, and unbelievably telephone with broadband, but we run it of solar power so sometimes it isn't all that reliable- plus I think we are actually not really in a covered area, but most of the time it works great.

One of my parents restaurants was in the middle of nowhere, which is where they lived when they wernt singing or touring, so i suppose it was home, and the freedom was cool. I really enjoy living in a community now though mind. Even at 33 , the ability to just walk to the shop and buy a paper is still cool for me. I longed to live in a street with friends and shops when i was little. Looks like it has alot of character mars.

Yes- that is the downside- if you forget something its all the way back to the town- about 15 minutes drive- there is a local shop about 8 minutes on the moped, but they hardly have anything in stock- well they do sell beer, so in the past I was a regular visitor- but I think there tills must have gone down quite a bit during these last few weeks.

There are also 6 bars within a 10 minute drive. Spain has more bars than shops.

Zak was staying the night with some friends. His school have just been on bellyaching that he didnt show up. Im in trouble with everyone! And my hands are swollen and all the veins in them are very raised...I think i must have high blood pressure! Im bloody dieing or something!
