    Right im changed and ready. Off to see parents and play some golf. Gonna think of that ball as a bt of wine. Rekon ill be doing 400+ drives today off the tee.

      Just realised I'd spelt 'vodka' wrong on an earlier post... LIKE HOW??? I'd put 'vokda' or something.

                    Hi, Troops,

                    I have spent way too much time going through this thread. It has been difficult with the connection in the hotel room. The connection causes many slow responses to clicks and sometimes ends up with the "No Page to Display" screen.

                    However, I have dutifully worked long and hard to read it.

                    Vlad, I love your ability. What a gift. Thank you for sharing it!!

                    I can't name all in my post, I must get bathed and dressed now that I have spent so long reading this but the chuckles were worth the time!! A great way to start a day.

                    So, Private Cinders reporting for duty and ready to go.

                      dictionary.com says nonce means "the present, or immediate".. as in the phrase 'for the nonce'... apparently.

                            Beef with Asparagus

                            Sirloin Steak
                            2oz mushrooms
                            10 sticks asparagus
                            1 onion
                            1 courgette
                            1 green pepper
                            half cup of stock
                            2 tbsp hoi sin sauce
                            2 tbsp soy sauce
                            2 tbsp olive oil
                            half tsp ginger

                            1. mix sauces, ginger & stock in bowl
                            2. cut beef into strips & mix into sauces. Leave for 20 mins
                            3. heat oil, fry veg on high heat for 5 mins
                            4. remove veg and fry beef for 3 mins
                            5. lower heat, add veg and sauce and simmer for further 8 mins.

                            serve with rice & crusty bread.
