When these people sober up and see what they have done, I can assure you they will feel nothing but utter shame

I have to respectively disagree with you Britt. Sure, some parents do sober up and feel shame. But rarely is abuse/neglect a one time thing.
I'm not perfect, no one is. But, I can not tolerate hurting innocent children. I guess I'm not politically correct on this one.

That is just horrid! What a very sad story. Poor baby. When I hear things like child cruelty/abandonment or animal neglect it is hard not to cry. Those asses deserved jail.
