Now I am starving for some Prawns.we where in Wales in Sept.Travel thru Shakespeare county and then out to the coast..I will use ginger in mine,next time.Homemade food and Homemade are are such a GREAT way to show love...The Trolls seem to find me,in charity shops,yard sales etc.I have over 100...Anything worth doing is worth overdoing..Tomorrow I will post the silver bangles...16 and counting..

They are lovely LTG. My dad does his own cards each year, and i think it makes a real difference. I always look forward to seeing what he's done this year...its usually a painting of something. He's got parkinsons now, so his hand isnt as steady as it was a couple of years ago! God bless him.

Parkinson's must be really hard to deal with...Pretty well limits you ability to express thru your hands...very hard to find ways to be creative,for sure..

The cards are made from cardstock. You can line the inside and the envelope with wrapping paper. Brown paper bags would also make a nice cardstock.
Chef, can you post a photo of your dad's work? Bless his heart for staying with it :wings:

Lol.Thanks o2m. He's cool with it. Takes his tablets and they found out early on so its under control for now. He's happy. I think retirment hit him hard. When my parents retired i thought my dad would enjoy it more than my mum. She was the workaholic...did all the business work, papers, employment, sacking, food, the lot, plus singing every night. My dad was just the front man. Could take a big crowd and have them in the palm of his hand in minutes. Boy, he knew how to work a crowd. But, other than that, he did the gardening and slept.
But when they retired, my mum seemed to get younger by about 10 years. She lost alot of weight, stopped drinking so much...just seemed to moderate just like that! But dad grew old very quickly i think because he was bored and didnt have a crowd to entertain every night. Mum always had other things, where as dad had singing and lived and breathed it.
Sorry to bore you all with my family story!!!
