Was having a chat with the boss but we were waiting on something to come out of the printer, think he saw I was staring into space and he began doodling something... yeah a picture of me with a thought bubble - I love vodka. Oh how right he was. I WAS actually thinking about booze.

Morning all.
It's 8:45 am here. I had a bad sleep but I'm feeling pretty good.
I spent the night sweaty but the shakes have stopped. I have relatively clear thoughts today, but I don't feel happy...not sad, just a little down. It will pass. I'm alone with the baby again today, so when she has her nap, I'll have some quiet time and a little meditation; try to quieten the turmoil that used to be my mind. I have difficulty concentrating and I keep thinking the worst about any given situation. I am usually so optimistic and only Day 2 AF seems very quick to have my whole persona altered like this. I have no desire for a drink, but I am aware that this can easily change.
Anyway, those are todays musings.

Dee Bee! Don't fret I was in stitches myself this morning looking back at it. The funniest thing was I live with my mum, for the time being. It woke her up and she came into my room to see me dragging myself off the floor. She immediately thought I was 'pissed' an assumption I hold NO grudge over!! She knows all about my past/present little 'fiasco's' and 'indiscretions' with drink and drugs so I bear the 'bitch' no ill will!!!lol To be honest I don't think I'd still be alive if it weren't my folks and my mum especially. She's been an absolute rock but at times been on the verge of a nervous breakdown herself over my drinking. Don't know what I would of done without her to be honest.

Gotta go NOW! as can't find any skins anywhere and I'm dying for a fag. Even looked in my draws for that odd crumpled up on you used to 'reject' cause it was slightly creased. I'm gonna start using EVERY SINGLE rizzla from now on. Normally I'd buy a load of packets of zig zags for a pound and I would always have them lying around!!. NOT TODAY!! ARGH! Actually I was just as bad when I was in Scotland. I'm sure dolphin will tell ya what I was like for skins and lighters and filters and...!! I'm so disorganised and chaotic!!

See yaz later I'm away to get skins and chile stuff!! I'll be puffing all the way to the supermarket, I can tell ya, once I roll that fag!!

Love Chili..I make a great PINK CHILI..Chicken instead of beef,Diced tomatos instead of tomato paste,pintos instead of kidney beans and tons of different peppers...Red,green,banana etc. etc. Life is wonderful here.Will is mowing the lawn and I am gonna go make Chili..

Good morning/afternoon to the Army ---- 13 pages of posts by the time I get here, so I'm going to just have to jump into line and start marchiing!
How's the cake coming Chef? Hope everyone's doing well today. I've got to get to the gym and then start work on my garden ... time to pull the scraggly stuff out ... I've neglected it for the past couple of weeks, and now that Fall is coming there will be a lot of clean up to do. I can only manage a bit at a time now ... gone are the days, I'd be out there all day long ... my back can't take that anymore.

Have a golf game lined up for tomorrow, so need to get some work done around here..... will check in later to see how the troops are doing.

OK all, I gotta get moving, glad everyone is doing well...

vlad please do not allow yourself to spend time thinking about what you like about vodka, or what you imagine will be the benefits of drinking it; just don't permit your mind to engage in the daydreaming, longing for it... this will keep you permanently on the edge of actually drinking... when we allow our minds to "rehearse" and prepare for drinking, we are strengthening the old behavioral patterns even while not actually lifting a glass. It's just dangerous. It worries me when you say that you are doing that...

The plan over here, where I am, is that Mother will be moving from the hospital into the Comfort Care home on Thursday. The Care Manager is spending time with her at the hospital this morning, and I am heading over to Mother's house to organize the furniture and other stuff that I need to take over to the new home to furnish her bedroom. I do so hope that this move actually happens! It will be such a relief for me to have the sense that she is reasonably comfortable and being cared for in a place where people will actually talk with her and care about what she wants to do all day... she isn't just out on her own, where she cannot manage, and she isn't being warehoused, either. We'll see.
