Hi again all- Nice to see we have some more male soldiers joining in!

WIP- Glad your mum seems on the mend and will be making the move soon- it will be so good for you to get a bit of your life back.

Vlad- I was down in the town and a craving hit around an hour ago- I was contemplating going to surf for half an hour in the internet cafe- something I often did with a nice bottle of cold beer. Well I took out the L-Glut powder (always make sure it is with me) and put about half a teaspoon under the tongue then read a few pages of a magazine to distract me.

Within about 5 mins I realised it had passed but then another craving began for a large chocolatey ice cream. OK this was preferable to the beer craving- but not ideal, as I am trying not to eat any animal products, nothing with lots of sugar and nothing fattening. This one was getting stronger and stronger so I took another dose of the L-Glut- and whad'dya know?!! The ice-cream craving also went. I ended up having a peach and a banana.

Maybe you can get it delivered quickly by post there if there's no health shop- ebay sellers tend to post pretty fast.

Last night I made barbeque baby back ribs (Like Applebees) w/ homemade sauce, hoppin' john, dirty rice, coleslaw, baked beans, crescent rolls and brownies. Tonight it's hotdogs!

Hoppin'John is a spicy cajun style side dish of blackeye peas, stewed tomatoes, jalapenos, sometimes other vegs. Dirty rice is also cajun, rice cooked with other things like onion, ground sausage, etc. Crescent rolls are just yeast rolls rolled and cut in triangles, then rolled up long side first and sort of curled (sorta like croissants) Brownies are a chewer, usually chocolate, bar type 'cake'. And I forgot the sweet tea. (iced of course)

Oh, yes! LTG. Blackeye peas and mixed greens (turnip, mustard, collard), with hot cornbread, sliced sweet onions, and some of my chow chow I put up in September!
