Just had a big barny with my G/F. Shes being really strange, and i truely think she is getting jealous of me spending so much time on here. Its only when im on my own, not when im with her. Cym me ole mukka! I think her feelings are only natural mate. EXACTLY the same thing happened to me when I first came online and found a forum to help with my drinking last year. My ex (long story!) was very controling, probably due to her own insecurities though. I think she thought I was going to find some 'alkie' online who understood me better and I was going to run off into the sunset with her!!. The thing is I tried to include her in what I was doing and for her to sit and read some posts with me and see what I was posting etc but she didn't want to know. So at least I tried. She couldn't understand that I desperatatly needed that forum during those early months of getting sober. I had no idea how deep my problem ran until I read other peoples posts and started asking questions myself. Still she felt I wasn't making the time alone for her. If truth be known we we're having problems already and not just with my drinking so I guess I did 'use' the forum in some small way to avoid her!.

Sorry a lot of you or you're family are not feeling well today. I'm feeling a lot better myself (not rubbing it in honest!). Yeah one the chilli was great although I could only eat half the normal portion size I eat. So lots left in the pan this morning for dinner later!!

Sorry I can't individualy say hello to everyone in the Army as I'm new here myself. But hoping to get to know you all better over the coming weeks.

I've already scoffed a round of toast this morning, which was all I could muster without feeling sic. So I'm off to get a shower, take me vits, have a fag and then I'll be back later. Can't wait to see that cake Cym too!!

YAY!! Ive got the tee shirt that was given out when we won the stanley cup in 94 and a Messier shirt from the 96-97 season. Would love to go back and watch them again. I have a home team here in Cardiff who are in the top Brit league, and its not a bad standard. Fully proffesional and we get a couple of AHL players and ex NHLers coming to play.

oh that's excellent Cym ! I grew up going to Rangers games! My Dad used to take me and older sis (yup - and to football and everything else LOL!!).
I should really go again this year, it's been ages. OMG what a crowd. Such fun!

Maybe O2 and I will go when she's here :H. We'll hold up a flag for ya!
