    Morning all,
    Keeping my son off school again today - his headcold has turned into full-blown earache and he can hardly lift his head from pillow.. poor thing, although Im sure he'll perk up once its after 9am and the kids have gone in!

    Hi Cym, yes I went to dentist and he told me to keep on with antibiotics and I need to go back next week to make arrangements for another wisdom tooth out... nowt wrong with the wisdom tooth, but its impacted and blocking the tooth next to it, which is decaying. Nothing is simple! lol

      Morning O2M... got the same bug here too! Sore throat (NOT helped by my 20 a day cig habit) and headcold.
      Try a hot blackcurrant with honey in for the throat, really helps.

        All you poor ill peeps. New day is playing golf and said she wont be here till afternoon. Cant wait to show my cake! Yes limers, i would love to see your over the shoulder boulder holder!!!
        Just had a big barny with my G/F. Shes being really strange, and i truely think she is getting jealous of me spending so much time on here. Its only when im on my own, not when im with her. She said she feels like im pushing her away and dont want her. Its very confusing, cause im happier than ive been in years. Still, thats life, gotta deal with it!

          Cym, I know what you mean about your g/f. After dinner last night my other half was sitting watching tv and i was thinking i really should go and spend time with him cos he's bound to complain about all the time im spending on here... the thing is though, after dinner is my 'trigger time' so id much rather come onto the forum than be going round to the shop for wine!
          He's understanding at the minute, but I reckon he'll get a bit sick eventually of me spending so much time on here.. it'll be a case of "Great, she's sober... but still not WITH me..!"

            Exactly Chelle. Would she rather i spent my hours drinking wine? She doesnt live with me anymore(cause of my drinking) so im only on here when shes not here. When she is we do things together. I love her very much and she has been such a help in me stopping, but shes being a bit possesive i think, which she can be.

              Ah, sevodnya budet haroshi dyen!

              Today is going to be a good day. Funny, I nearly forgot all about logging on here this morning. Going to see our church's production of 'Summer Holiday' tonight. They have built a life-sized London bus out of wood in the church hall, will get a photo if can!

              Hope all those with colds and sore throats this morning will feel up to the party at 1.00pm??? I didn't really know about this to be honest...

                      Chelle LOL. Ive never met any of you, and i really dont understand why she would be jealous of people i speak to online! She has had her issues(not with booze firsthand) and i just think sometimes her mind gets something in there and she cant let it go. She'll prob read this and give me a bollocking!!
                      Glad your feeling better vlad. Enjoy the show, and make sure you pop into the party. Get yourself a piece of carrot cake to eat with us all.

                              She reads the posts on here. Sometimes i think she is checking up on me. Dont like it to be honest. Im 33, not a school kid. She is 9 years younger than me, and sometimes i think that might be the reason.
