    Hi Cymru - thanks, I will join you for the day, enjoy your trip into town and I do hope you hear back from that job soon.
    One2 - pampering sounds good, chipper sounds good too. I might try to get into Tescos this afternoon and try some of that Cobra beer - pain is I don't drive and Navan is about a 20min bus trip away, grand when you are on your own but not so hot with two narky kids and when they see the shops they want to buy everything in sight. I keep kicking myself over the driving thing - was going great guns on my lessons a few years back and then had a problem with my eye, couple of operations so I couldn't practice. I really have to do something about it but a bit tight on the sheckles at mo. so will be a few months before I can buy a car. Hubby drives a work van so no good to me.
    Anyway, enough of my moaning, I am off to have a cup of tea and enjoy my peace and quiet while I can.

      I agree with you one, just watched the dolph clip and now I'm off to bed, wonder what I'll dream about.

        Ive only been driving a little over a year and it was last sep i started going out on my own . Now im flying everywhere and its so great , Do it , do it now! You wont regret it , I find it hard to believe I was so nervous before , and i mean SOOO NERVOUS!! I passed the test in may as well . Im proud of myself!

            Think I just made myself seem a bit odd. A colleague was saying that on the news they are saying that txting whilst driving is more dangerous than drink driving... I just said, 'Yes - it is!'. He looked at me weird and said, 'Err...yes, well it depends how much you drink!' Think I just made it look like I drink and drive. Dumb ass!

                  Hello Troops,

                  Sounds like everyone had a great party yesterday - where are the pic's?

                  Nothing too exciting to report on my side of the world. Went out for dinner last night and got ragged sensless for drinking appletizer whilst everyone got holly molly smashed. To add insult to injury I feel hungover today, very sluggish, headache and I have the mother of all zits by my eye :-(

                    Hi Again,
                    Off to the shops too via the playschool, will just make it back before the next school run- decided just to go to SuperValu instead as it is just up the road, can try Tescos for the Cobra beer another day - promises of delights of the flesh would not convince my hubby one little bit as he would know straight away not to believe me, he knows all my tricks and no longer accepts credit.. plus AF stuff costs the same and yes I think a better plan would be to try and save the money for a car. At least you have two years on me One2, I am grounded at 38. Limers, congrats on your test - did you get it the first time?? - I am so nervous about driving but I know it would make a huge difference to me. Hi Gyco and hi also to DeeBee - that zit sounds painful.

                      Hi Everyone,
                      Been to my aunt's funeral this morning.. she was only 56 when she died.. she got diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Catholic service so was really long, only just got back now.
                      Lots of people were there, so she was well-loved by a lot of folk. Some had come all the way over from Ireland to be there for the service (that's where she was from). Managed to have a couple of words with my uncle.. he's holding up well.
                      Gonna take off me glad rags and heels and put me jeans back on so's I can get my doggies out.. It's actually nice weather here for a change!
                      ?I am playing all the right notes... But not necessarily in the right order.....?

                          Afternoon Troops!

                          Glad you're feeling better today one. Not sure about your fixation with Dolph (not that one!!) in that Rocky movie though. Although at the time it was a pretty cool flat-top haircut wannit?!!lol

                          Cym Hope you're well today my friend after a hectic day of partying. Twas good day one n all!! Had some good laughs along the way but had to duck out early as was feeling the pace!!lol

                          Bandit good to see ya back, don't give up hope it's hard when your flying solo or rather trying to stay 'grounded'!!. Stick at it. I know I need this brigand of recruits for moral support!!

                          Vlads I'll pm you a sandwich soon as it's getting near 1ish and dinner time. At least if your belly is rumbling it's because your hungry and not because of last night's vodka!

                          Dee great to see you, zits n all!! I used to get plenty of days when I would feel worse the morning after when I hadn't even had a drink the night before. Used to make me feel cheated at times!!lol

                          Sorry again for missing anyone but still the newbie on the block in this army!! One you'll have to send me a list of conscripts!!

                          Anyway I'm off to see my nearly 4 year old daughter this afternoon. will be leaving about 2ish and really looking forward to seeing her today. Last Thursday I was still slightly feeling the effects of the cans I drank the previous night. Today I'm feeling great and in good spirits. Cym your story about your time in London with your daughter in Dolphin's thread this morning really struck a chord with me. I did almost exactly the same thing with my daughter about a month ago. Drank Vodka while having her stay with me overnight was not a good idea or solution to what was going on in my head at that time. Nice one for sharing that mate.

                          Well have a good day all I'll be around for an hour checking in and out so BE GOOD!!

                            Good Day All
                            Can't hang out for long, but will be back later. I did not sleep one bit last night worrying about my pre-employment drug test today. Why do I have to be such a pot head??? I have been drinking tons of water for the past 4 days and have refrained from marijuana and alcohol. I took a massive dose of diuretics last night and peed buckets.lol. I have to drink a quart of herbal cleanser and it tastes like crap. I almost threw up the last time I drank it. I need this job soooo badly. Please pray for me today. I do plan to stop the marijuana for good, but I do have to wait until Sunday as I am going to a Decriminalization Festival on Saturday and I am not gonna kid myself. I know I will be smoking. It has been nice to be off it for a few days. I will have to add MF(marijuana free) to my daily check in. So glad to have you back Bandit. Oh, by the way, the lasagna came out Great. I chopped up fresh spinach and mixed it in with the 3 cheeses that I use. I have always done that to sneak some nutrition in to my kids. They never noticed and it tastes Great. Sorry for rambling. I am very hyper today. Weird, as I didn't sleep at all.

                                Yeah, One2, don't know how this drunken, pothead of a Mum got so lucky. My middle son, (the quiet one) is a great photographer, writer, and drummer. I am a lucky woman. Was that a pic of your daughter that I saw yesterday?? She is adorable. The thread was so long. I tried to read through it all.
