Hey Krigs, I have had a fantastic few days. Feeling really good. This weekend it was our 21st wedding anniversary and my mums 73rd birthday so both families got together by the sea for a celebration. It was the first family gathering that I have felt totally relaxed at. I really enjoyed myself and the celebration was in a pub too! I really didnt crave at all, just felt good. I know its not always the way cos earlier in the week I was pretty down, but I KNOW that I am capable of happiness now. That I am finding totally and unbelievably amazing.

      How are you doing?

Starting, I'm so glad for you..you totally deserve to feel that way...keep it up. I am doing fine; I am still AF and plodding along. I guess today I am feelling a little blah, like I'm bored maybe. Husbo is at work most of the day, so at least I don't have to sit in front of him while he drinks. I'm going to take a nice walk with a friend later so that should get my spirits up a bit. I need exercise but can't seem to get motivated to do it most days.

Krigs, thank you! the walking that I do has saved my sanity and lifted my spirits on many occasion. i dont think of it like exercise I think of it like medicine.
I know what you mean about the blah moods. Its like OK now I am AF...Now what?? Sometimes I think that part is harder than giving up in the first place.

Starting, My husband is THE most supportive person ever, but I told him in the beginning that he should be prepared for me to slip and to just be there for me if I did. He, above anyone else, understands that part of the journey. He has not had to deal with that yet, but I know he would not bat an eye. He looks at me and sees the strongest woman in the world. I now just wish he would join me. Except for the night of the car incident, he has been drinking much less and I see him popping vitamins. I am hoping for the day he decides to quit...I can't lose sleep over that tho..
