    the Frozen pillow story

well, I heard that little bugs can live in our pillows and it's been concerning me a bit as I have allergies so yesterday afternoon I take my pillow and throw it in the deep freeze. there! that ought to kill them.

    then I totally forget.

then at 11pm my poor Dx comes back from a late night at work and we are both dead tired and head to bed. no pillow. oops! I tell her I forgot to unthaw my pillow. she is quite confused by this statement.
couple minutes later I return with my frozen solid pillow. hahahahaha.
this is the first time I've had an ice cream headache without icecream. also the first time I've had an ice cream headache in bed!

there must be a moral to this story but it escapes me.

I love cold pillows but never put one in the deep freeze!!!!!!!!:H

I wash mine in hot water and hang them outside to dry to kill bugs..

                well, I hope so!

I'd have to cut up the mattress to get it into the deep freeze.

That was pretty funny. I bet the look on DX's face was priceless. I wash my pillows. They come out fine and all the bugs are gone.

                              Det,

                              Just a thought..

Wouldn't a toss into a hot dryer kill the little buggers, fluff the pillows and end up being a little more comfortable than the frozen pillow?
