For a Presidential hopeful who "always puts country first", why is his quest for nive-president so insultingly low. He has had 4 cancers ops and still refuses to disclose medical records, apparently they are sealed. It seems to be he is "punishing" the country perhaps long term PTSD has affected him mentally.

I think the amount of pics and jokes I've come across on the net the feeling is pretty mutual as to what kind of a joke people take her for. There are some priceless ones of people protesting in her home state of Alaska. I think it's pretty clear even on this side of the pond as to the type of candidate she is. I won't elaborate any further but agree with you Mags 100% as to how she is portraying herself and women in general.

People need to take a step back and listen to what they are saying. The media is like a bunch of grade schoolers teasing another student. Unfortunately, the rest of the kids are going along with it.

If you want to use the media to formulate an opinion, watch/listen/read independant media, not ultra left or ultra right wing. Most media does a disservice to the American people because they are looking to get a reaction. The reaction draws ratings.

Mags - I totally agree with your post about Palin. It is indeed firghtening to me that someone so clearly out of her league is embraced by so many. Kathleen Parker's editorial last week was really good. Don't know if you saw it. But she basically said that Palin should bow out for the good of women and the good of the country. Amen to that.

Listen, MM, if put yourself out there, in politics, everything (sometimes unfortunately so) is fair game. Especially, in politics, your intellect, your capacity to speak the English language, your understanding of world affairs, your demeanor, your capacity to behave with some gravity, your maturity, your experience.... If you act like an idiot, somebody is going to "make fun" of you.
