Greetings to all you wonderful people,How everyone had a happy, healthy weekend.ours was a Blast. My head is swimming with all the new ideas that were sparked. It was nice to see Sylvia Browne again and she looks so happy and is in LOVE again. It was our first time meeting John Holden. His workshop was Titled Powerful ways to Transform your life....WOW, good ideas.Lisa Williams(the English medium) is sweet and genuine.Cesar Millan was just like on TV.He was blown away that over 1000 people showed up for his class. The Shaman Steve Farmer gave a great class on Soul Retrival (healing your shattered self).I have studied this with other teachers but he really hit the nail on the head. The highlight for me was spending time alone with the Grand Dame of self help (Louise Hay).It is her birthday today and she is 82 yrs. old(she told me her age has been misprinted over the years) She was born the same day and year as my Grandma...I bought many Spiritual books and will post them under WHAT WE'RE READING as I absorb their wishdom...I missed you all, very much and am so GRATEFUL to be sober(with your help).sigpicEyes on the PRIZE, a SOBER Future !!!Tags: None

I need to go to the produce market on may way back from the Dentist.A little seafood stand is next door.I AM BUYING SOME CLAMS...You have me hungry for lunch and I haven't had Breakfast..Cold water Clams are sweeter and the same with lobster. Our warm waters turn them alittle salty instead of sweet.sigpicEyes on the PRIZE, a SOBER Future !!!

Gia;432815 wrote: Our lobster is really good here; well all our seafood actually. I had some warm water seafood in the States and over in Asia (Thailand and such), and it doesn't taste as good. I always heard people rave about Thai lobster, and I was really disappointed.

Hi Evie and everyone,
Evie, I'm so glad you are back in town, and enjoyed a fulfilling event. The weekend was lovely, I got the rest of the flower bulbs into the ground, and we went to the theater. But I did not achieve my AF goal - grrr. My husband drinks most days, always moderately. There was an open bottle of wine on the counter that reached out and grabbed me! Well, it felt that way. Usually he keeps the wine in the basement, and I don't go looking for it. But he had put some of this bottle into some soup he was making. Well, the world did not come to an end, but I would rather achieve a goal that not achieve it. This weekend there will be four adults and two teens visiting us. They are not big drinkers, but wine will be served with meals, and I would like to join them, then make the following weekend AF. So there, it is written down and I will make it happen. My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
