Starting watching "The Starter Wife" yesterday. Hate to get hooked on serials.!!! I SO understand the starter wife theory, tho hasn't happened 2 me. Hubs can't afford it!!!!

Hi my AF army friends!!

I simply cannot keep up with this thread every day because my right eye is still so darned blurry, reading after a while really gives me horrible headaches. Great for a computer person, huh??

However, I just wanted to throw myself in here, tell everyone that I am doing great, especially since Monday I found out that my problems are not caused by MS. Big, big sigh of relief!!

I am now back on a med that I do not do well with but doc wants me to give it another go. Okay. I will. If I start typing weird things and posting stupidly, forgive me. I do not think Gabapentin is the answer for me but I do have to do my part of what the doctor says.

However, I do not have MS, so I am thrilled. I am a bit sad because the doctor thinks my eye is permanently damaged from the nerve. That makes me sad but if that is the worst, then I can deal with it.

As to everyone here, from what I COULD read, everyone is doing pretty well. Some have fallen but jumped right back on and that is all that matters in the fight.

Sometimes we lose a few skirmishes but getting up and fighting again is all the really matters. We WILL win the war!!

Cindi, We've missed you in the Army! You can just jump in anywhere and post; that's what I have to do sometimes because of work, etc. I miss some but I still try to keep in touch. It is challenging, to say the least, to keep up with 30+ pgs of posts.
O2- Get your eyes fixed or your puter adjusted girl! I have orange hair!
Rubes, Sorry your head is still aching; do you have anything to take for it stronger than aspirin or OTC pain relievers?
LTG, Anything new about Katrina?
I just got back from a pedicure....nails done yesterday, so I'm set for a month. I just shuffled into my office with the cotton still between my toes in those funny rubber thongs. LOL I looked pretty funny hobbling slowly back to my desk!

LTG,'Starter Wife' is about a woman married to a movie exec in California, then after she has a baby and gets older, he dumps her to get a younger woman. Makes me FURIOUS! But she comes back with a vengeance! Doctor just called me, personallh, which is unheard of from him!!! Discussed Topa, told me he'd prescibe it as long as I'd to to AA. Finally agreed, since that's what he wanted, but I'll stay here. Been to AA. It's GREAT, just not for me. He says it's the only thing that works. Didn't even try to explain MWO to him, 'long as he gave me script!

It does feel great!
Well it is brown instead of brown and grey .
It is long and shiny and wavy. I am very proud of it )

A pamper does us all good. One2 cant hubby look after the kids one Saturday so you can get yourself sorted?
