I think there are many elements of the liver that can go wrong.
Raised enzymes
Fatty liver
cirrhosis (sp?)
Hepatic liver disease
It would depend on what this test is testing for.....probably raised enzymes. But you would need a full profile I think to get accurate results

You would need to go to your gp and spill about the alcohol then I guess it would be down to them whether they referred you for further tests.
