Morning all. Feeling better thismorning, though a big argument about mwo this morning didnt help! Got the girls coming over in a bit though, so that should be fun.
Starts, i can understand why you must be so pissed off. It seems the nhs has 1 horror story after another.
G/F is going home now, so will be without a p.c for a while, but may pop to the internet cafe in town later for a chat. Would like to go to hockey tnt, but have no wonga!
have a great, positive day all. Take care of yourselves, and one another.

Heres my bros dog. Sadly he was diagnosed with arthrhitas a couple of weeks ago and is really struggling. Was such a strong dog. Very sad. His name is taffy.

Your dads story is horrific but sadly i am not surprised....

I am frightened of kicking up a stink at the moment. I got cross last night but while mum is in there I dont want them to take it out on her.
My brother is coming this afternoon and I have to stay calm for him, he is liable to fly and I really dont want that at the moment.
Oh, fecking hell, S.O., that is just so horrible, and it is also just SO typical, which is also so fecking horrible. I have faced that over and over again in hospitals here in the USA during Mother's last 3 hospitalizations, I had to be there with her practically EVERY MINUTE to keep an eye on things. And I went from being a nice, cooperative patient's family member to someone much more demanding and a lot less jolly and friendly with the physicians and nurses. Basically, I think it helps. You don't want to be friends with them; you want them to know you are keeping an eye on them. It totally sucks, but that's the way hospitals are. I read a story recently written by a physician whose father was in the hospital; he stayed in the room with his father the entire time, slept in the chair, and checked every medication that his father was given. Hospital staff understand the need for close supervision by family; they would do it themselves for their own family.

They can be kind of hyper, I think. Have you considered a dog (or puppy) from a shelter? They can be the BEST doggies in the world...

Yeah I would really strongly consider it! The shelter people usually know their doggies well enough to know what kind of temperament he (or she) has, and if s/he is housebroken etc., and s/he will already be neutered or spayed and given shots, and that dog will be SO grateful to have a home, with kids, people to love him and play with!

Sorry about your friend,Teardrop...Cancer really SUCKS...One2, how great it is to add a fur person to your family..Isn't practical for us here at the INN.Guests would often complain about being allergic to Eleanor (our old Ridgeback).I have her last photo posted in the Gallery. She has cancer tumors all over and we were just telling her that we were gonna put her to sleep. The Aura Photo shows she is at peace with that..

Oney, the rescue dog is the best dog in the world. Please give one a chance. I have had many and they have all been amazing. hard work but amazing.

WIP thanks for your post. I think I am gonna have to get tougher. It is so hard when I dont feel tough at all. It has been horrific for so long and I thought it was all over. Now I know its not really.

KP I think your girlfriend is probably very insecure. Thats why she cant handle you needing us. Rich made a good point. Does she mind you going for counselling? It is a similar thing......
