Thanks so much for your support.......it is very uplifting to know that you care and that many of you can identify with me feeling that I need to make a fresh start, which must begin with me addressing the serious issues in my life at this time.

Well........Phewwwwww!!!!........it has been one long day, but one which has filled me with hope and for that hope alone.........I am sincerely grateful tonight.

I turned up at the local Citizens` Advice Bureau for it opening at 10 am, only to find that around 10 people had got there before me. There followed an incredible 3 hr. wait, before I was interviewed by an adviser, which lasted approx. 2 hrs. So.........5 hrs altogether spent at CAB without a drink.........didn`t take any juice along as I turned up early (???!!!) I didn`t expect to be there long enough to need juice. Needless to say, when I finally got out of there.........I was parched!!! :H

Anyway.........I`m not complaining........not at all, `cos..........things are looking good. CAB gave me excellent advice and that advice has been like manna from Heaven to me.........seriously. However, I cannot afford to make any mistakes, so will seek legal advice tomorrow to ensure all is in order for me to proceed in the way the CAB advised. If so, (and I think all will be fine to go ahead) my problems should all be sorted out within the space of 4-6 short but harrowing weeks.

Please.........wish it with all your might for me........4-6 wks and my tangible probs look likely to be no more.

The CAB are brilliaint...They have succesfully helped us out of more than one shit hole...The fact that it's voluntary help and not someone helping you because they have to always puts my mind at ease..

I have always been a big fan of yours Star and am hoping to be where you are..Not seeing myself as an recovering alcaholic...More as somebody who just doesnt drink..

I can tell that we are on a similar trajectory my friend - some weeks of heavy lifting ahead for me too - followed by........ freedom. serenity. Oh yes! But some real work to do in the short term.
