heluw - think i am going to be going a lot better once settled into this site - keep getting side tracked finding my way around - long as i dont find "my way out" of the site and not find my way back !
my intro (the brief version) am sure you will find out the good and bad of me in detail in time ...

i am single with a little girl, am an artist for the most part and do some computer work when i need to bump cash. oh did i mention i have a disgusting drinking habit...

if i think of the good me - i am nice, spiritual, always seeking out the alternative, love truth to override man's bizaar social ways and pressures, love peace and am conscious of what we are doing to our planet....

then the BAD me - abuses alcohol, smokes, smokes, drinks, lies about drinking, lets life slip by without giving a shit, drinks, secretly drinks, forgets who i've called - you know the story

anyway must dash to the shop - will check in later and try start piecing together who everyone is

Not intending to be a "hard taskmaster"! Just want to give you a gentle challenge, and encouragement to make a plan and put it into place! The AF Army thread is primarily written by and for those who are actively working on their commitment to be AF. We have others who pop in from time to time, too, and that's great. Mostly, they are folks who have done a long period of being AF, and now working on a plan to engage in moderate drinking.

We do have a lot of fun on this thread, and underneath it all is the commitment to encourage each other in the work of living our lives free from alcohol...

Hello everyone.....I am back.....some are thinking, who are you and were you gone? lol...

Well, I am back with a vengence! I am on Day 6AF and am feeling fine. I have probably missed a few things in the last little bit, and catching up well, not sure I can swing that, BUT I am willing to try! Though today is a working day and I will be gone for most of it.

I hope that everyone is doing well. It's a chilly dreary day here in Ontario, but I won't let it drag me down!

Awww thanks LTG! She is doing very well. My step dad had a set back while she's been recouperating. He has gout and well, he had an 'episode' (can you call it that?), anyway...he's already paralyzed on one side from a stroke 11 yrs ago, and with the gout acting up, he can't move at all. We went through the weekend with that....and I still managed not to drink with that stress....so I am feeling pretty damn good! Not so good that I feel like I can manage a drink, because I know I cannot.

But he is much better now after taking his meds and Mom should be moving out of here soon....almost been a month since she's been here! My kids are starting to think they have 2 moms.
