Fabulous! OneTwo and Limers, you will be GREAT Book Club members! Last time we read Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail; and for December I think we are reading one of the old Father Brown mysteries by Chesterton... the main thing, though, is not necessarily to read the book, but to show up, eat some good food, and have a few laughs. The two of you will absolutely blow the top off all of us old boring girls...

And limers, you'd better pm me if you ever need to talk... I'll yammer on and on at you till you are bored sick of the whole idea of drinking...

That's a good question, AAth. 30 and 60 and 90 days seem big to me... well, every day AF is big, to me. But I am more and more aware that where I really want to be is counting years, not days. I did that once, and I'll do it again. I have my old AA 3-year chip, and carry it around in my pocket, as a reminder that I can do it, and a promise to do it again.

I guess the next, closer-by, milestone feels like it will be 6 months. That's not long off, at all.
