Ok, cake in the bread maker.......I'll need that recipe. I recently dusted mine off and started baking bread and I made some noodles. My hubby made me a cake last night!!! Last year he made me a surprise b-day cake from scratch--It was so sweet! Now I guess he thinks he needs to do it every year since it made such a big impact.
I have mixed feelings on this day though. I was cleaning my kitchen floor and out of the blue started missing my mom. She's been gone 4 years almost, dad, 3. That's why the cake was so special. No one had ever made me a cake except my mom, ever!
Anyway, from now on, I will think of a funny looking Ostrich always on my birthday!!

You made noodles in your bread maker - we have to swop some recipes sis.
I can't imagine what it must be like to loose a parent, I am lucky enough to have both of mine in good health and as back-up I have wonderful in-laws too.
