Good Day Army
Just checking in before I get into the shower and go see my doctor. My stomach is still upset but I must get to the doctor. WIP made some great observations about me, and I will discuss those with my doctor. I am pretty sure that she will give me a note for work, so hopefully, I will keep my job. I must also fax my last pay stub to the mortgage co. today and find out if they are going to work with me, or foreclose on me. Shit, I was just about to hit the shower, and I think my son beat me to it. Day 1, hopefully, the last time I will be saying this. BTW, I was not drinking when I was on the forum yesterday. I had finished my last beer at 6:30 am. Very sick to see that in writing. How many normal people are drinking at that hour?

Good morning all! My wake-up crew started telling me to get up at 5:30 this morning, as usual. 3 dogs and 2 cats sleep in the bedroom with me. There are two primary alarm clocks: Jezebel, who has a very loud and demanding YOWL when she wants her breakfast or dinner, and Skipper, my mother's dog, who is not quite housebroken, and who sleeps on a long leash by the bed. He starts whining, and Jezebel starts yowling. Then the rest of them start to get up and pace around. No more sleeping for me. I have begun putting the pillow over my head and making them wait, so I just lie there, not really sleeping, just forcing them to realize that I am NOT going to get up the moment they want me to! Today we stretched it all the way to 5:45.

Hoping everyone has a good day. Sea, let us know how it goes with the doc. Hipps, are you going to talk to your own doc about the antabuse? It seems like such a good idea for you... but I am worried about your liver!

I plan to get some things out of the way today so I can feel on top of stuff, like Cy. That helps SO much with mood, anxiety, and urges to drink... And I am still clearing stuff out of this house. Taking stuff to Goodwill. Feels really good to get rid of some clutter! I have been feeling smothered by stuff.

That is awesome One2, how can I print that out? It might be helpful for me to have a few telephone numbers. I am willing to give my number out as well. I am bringing the MWO book with me to the doc, again. I will try to convince her about the Topa and possibility a mood stabilizer, or something non-addictive to help with anxiety. Felt great to take a nice hot shower. I have been lingering in this bed for days.

Fighting the divorce battle WITH my son now. SO much better. DIL a no show this AM. 15-y-o-g-d IS sick. Now I cancel my Doc appt & take her. Rick goes to court Mon but it should be a slam dunk. Mom is scurrying now, trying to cover arse!

Congrats!! on being a Senior Rubes. Don't think it means you get a discount though.lol. I am so sorry that you are going through this with your son. It is so difficult to watch our children go through painful things, no matter what their age. He is lucky to have you by his side.
