Now she's gone to walk one of the dogs. Makes me nervous when she suddenly gets nice. But she's got on my old walking shoes and has MY dog, so she better not go far! She hid in the woods one time till we called the police. Everyone had left to look for her and I was alone at their home when she came walking out. I almost passed out. I hugged her hard as I could as I was telling her I'd kill her dead if she ever did it again. Cops had a long talk w/her. She would only come out to me she told them. DIL has made my son the bad guy cause he's the only one who disciplines. Hope he hasn't waited too long, but it sure not going to cost him any money now, so he can spend it on counselling. I've already got him a housekeeper in mind.sigpic

Counselling is about the only option at this point, but GD has to be willing to go and to be honest and accept accountability for her actions. We had problems with my stepdaughter and it did not have a happy ending because my husbo refused to accept the fact that she needed counselling. Do you have access to good care for the kids?:l

Yes. I'm not able or willing to be 24/7, but I CAN be backup. I have a new renter who I think is a good person. I trusted her to rent to her so I'm thinking of trying her as a housekeeper for Rick and the girls. Lots of changes and Tay's not going to be happy with structure, but if worst comes to worst, my daughter will take her, and she is GREAT. That will be the best place for her if she keeps acting out.sigpic

She's back. No, no smell. She changes min-to-min. We have always been close as mother and child and I'm going to dedicate myself to keeping her straight, but the other two need attention too. The mother doesn't even need unsupervised visits. I think she may be using.sigpic
