I love music and I love singing ...not saying im a good singer now but I spend alot of the day singing. Anyways I never ever know the full lyrics of any song and I frequently get the lyrics arseways. For example for years I always though that Tracey Chapmans song "sorry" went like....

"sorry , is all that you can say ,
you scumbag and still...."

Its only recently I found out that the words to line 2 are

"years gonebye and still"

any lyrical boobies anyone else would care to own up too???!:H:H

When my husband was in a band in the 60s and 70s (he was the engineer) his band used to get so sick and tired of playing the same old songs.

At one point "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple was a huge hit and they were asked to play it all the time.

No one EVER noticed they were actually singing:

Soap on the water,
Shampoo in your eyes. :H
