I spent years dancing to all the tunes in the 60's and 70's.. thought they were so great.. then I moved here (US) in 1981.. finally learned English and started to understand all the words from all those tunes I danced to.. I should not have done that.. the words I thought were so great were so bad!!!

"... with eyes like potatoes" is sooo funny, especially since potatoes do have eyes. That is just hilarious.
When Macy Gray's first song was released (I can't recall the title), a friend of mine thought the line, "My world crumbles when you're not here" was, "I wear goggles when you're not here".Comment
