My house-mate person is gone for the weekend so I have the whole place to myself, all weekend... and I took the afternoon off from work, spent it in a huge blow-out.... took a nap! A 2-hour nap! I was having weird dreams, can't remember them, not pleasant, so I'm glad to be awake again.Comment

I went to visit my mother today... it was grim, as usual. Then went by a nice store to buy some new jeans and some slippers, as a treat for myself afterwards, but they had turned the whole store into some kind of discount place, NOT nice any more, it was very depressing. I think I'll do some online shopping, saw some slippers I really like in a couple of catalogs. My old ones are way, way ratty, old sheepskin, I don't think they would survive the washing machine... but maybe I'll try. Now, there's an exciting Friday night activity! Wash the old slippers and see how they turn out!

Yep it's very nice... of course 3 dogs and 2 cats here, too. When I got home this afternoon I went into the living room to find that Scarlett (the one you love) had found the cat food bin, taken it into the living room, opened the top (it's a fairly large round plastic storage bin), and ate it ALL. Fortunately there wasn't a huge amount in there... she is very clever, loves finding stuff on the counters and taking it into the living room to open it and eat it in comfort, on the nice rug.one2many;451438 wrote: The whole house to yourself...ohhh Wip, that sounds like utter utter bliss!!! wonderful!Comment
