My mother WAS Christmas. Seven years ago, just after turning 69, she was in the hospital dying over Christmas. We lost her on December 29, with all her children & g'grandchildren in her room, holding her hands, face, singing to her. Because of the weekend and holidays, she couldn't be buried until January 2. The holidays ALWAYS bring this back to us.:h

I am sorry you lost your mother that way. It seems like she went happy though with all her loved ones around her.
I never got to say goodbye to my mother. Or my father for that matter.

Evening everyone.

Just a very quick visit cos I am off to the seaside in a few mins!!!! Cannot wait. We are going to Norfolk and get pampered to within an inch of our lives from Rich's parents. I love it there. We just load up the dogs pack a holdall and go. My idea of heaven. Lots of walking and chilling.

As everyone is, I am still very upset over KP, I spoke to him this morning and must admit I felt rather helpless. But he needs to find his own way and he knows we will be here with open arms when he is ready to return.

The inlaws have a pc so will be able to log on a bit over the weekend to keep in touch thankfully :-)
