Afternoon All (well it is here!)
Sea I would do as one suggested. I remember when I used to hide booze then get so smashed and find out the next day that it was not so well hidden after all!!. Sal would be waiting for me to try and sneak it away upstairs or something knowing all along it was there!! That, or she would take it and hide it herself then wait for me to FINALLY remember about it. When I couldn't find it I would be on edge for days worrying about it. Has she found? Did I actually drink it? Had I hidden it somewhere else? etc etc. I couldn't bare the pressure after a few days and so had to confront Sal with puppy dog eyes being all apologetic. She may that 'bit of a fright' at first. She'll probably sense something's quite a miss as well. Confronting kids over drink and drugs is never gonna be an easy task so be careful how you approach it if she does finally ask you about them.
Kids hey! was reading your thread yesterday ak and by god it reminded me of that program Suppernanny. I would be at the end of my tether with her by now and I think I would not be showing the restraint my parents gave me. I think that was part of the problem when my drinking got out of hand. They showed no detachment whatsoever and so I was able to carry on. I kind of wish they would of gave me an ultimatum to either stop drinking or pack my bags and get out. I think I would of been a lot stronger a person today if I'd of had to learn to stand on my own 2 feet a lot sooner rather than shirking all responsibilites for my actions. Can't imagine how it must be effecting your younger 2 who may or may not look up to her as some rebellious role model. Glad to read you have the support of a loving husband though.
LTG Are you moving home? Missed it all yesterday I'm afraid but on reading sounds like you're heading back to CA to be closer to your kids? House prices in this country are just the same too. My folks bought their home for ?24,000 and it's now worth ?125,000 (mind you that was 20 odd years ago they bought the house!! OOPS!!)
Hi Mich, I have no idea what a PAP smear is but I'm asuming it's to check for cancer? Hope the repeat one goes well.!!

Missing Cym not posting too to be honest, being the only other bloke in this thread!! Ah well Hope he's OK and back soon.
