Rubes, Have you ever been prescribed percocets for pain? Aren't they pretty darn strong?

After surgery only, Krigs. I have some regularly prescribed pain meds that I think are strong but no where NEAR percs.

Krigs You can have anything from me you want. I am up early this morning dipping cheescake truffles, and making chocolate rolls. I just set them for their first rise, then I will roll them out, slather them with cream cheese and mini chocolate chips, roll them up, slice them, and let them rise some more. I make my cheesecakes at night, in piece and quiet, where they have all night to sit. That is the best time I work. It's like art, you work best at a certain time, ensuring that it looks the best(and tastes the best) that it can. Anyway, I ramble!!!

I posted the pomegranate cheesecake recipe last night under my recipes!!

ltg...a math problem. If my recipe calls for 1/2 cup dutch baking cocoa, and 3/4 cup dark baking cocoa, how much chocolate am I putting in my rolls???

Oney, The kids have a 2 1/2 year old as well that is running around. DIL has not been able to even pick her up in that time frame! The people they know in the neighborhood have taken turns watching her all day and my son has been able to work at home 2 days each week. It has been brutal for them but with the generous help of neighbors and friends they have had all this help. It has been a Godsend! They even have had meals cooked for three X each week!

We should be okay selling this place. DFW metroplex has been the least affected market in the US. On the other hand, CA is so feckin' expensive. That part has me worried.

LTG, The good news is that CA is one of the most affected RE markets in the country so you will be getting a house there "on sale", if you can imagine! Maybe a townhome??? Maybe that's not an option with all your furry family members?

Percocet is high up on pain med chart, very much monitored, very addictive. When I took it, it was only 1 script, immediately after surgery, then I was given a different lower dose drug, and weaned down. It is especially used after bone surgery and facial surgery, which is extrememly painful.

                                good morning rubes!!!!

I am catering a woman's center bridge party today. The women all chip in $5 and pay me that. I tried not to take anything, but they insist. It doesn't cover my cost but I feel great when I hand them a receipt for the amount they paid me and they think that they paid for it all. Their great little old ladies, all widows on fixed incomes. The rolls are for the men's coffee this morning at the senior center. The women have one too, and they always bring a whole bunch of stuff, but the men NEVER get anything so every Tuesday I make something for them to have, and take it over there. Most of them were born in Alaska in the early part of the century, and the stories that they tell. Boy do we have it good, living in Alaska in 1915 or so had to be hell!!!!!
