Mainly because where I am there is a huge gap in the market for a local shop- we have a 5 mile drive to get to the nearest shop that sells anything decent and when you get there parking is horrendous.
I had thought about it for a while but there are not any premises- it is difficult to explain but it is really just houses here- but then one day I saw a 'for rent' sign on what I suppose you would call a 'lock up' and I thought it could easily be converted into a shop- but in answer to the question just recognising a need because I live here!Comment
