    November A@@ kickers - day 1!!

    Hi to all of you who replied to Lukalee's thread yesterday - and everyone else!! Luk - thanks again for suggesting this. I find it really helpful to know that there are others trying for 30 days too!

    Woke up this morning feeling not quite as brave as I was feeling yesterday ...... have just been reading all the posts about starting on a weekend. Normally right about now I'd be heading out to do the shopping, which would include buying a couple of bottles of wine, which I'd start on Saturday lunchtime after house cleaning.

    So today, I have other plans. Did all the shopping last night, no wine in the house at all. Shortly I shall head out for the weekend paper, and then I'm going to lie around reading them from cover to cover! I have lots of other things to do today, so I'll be keeping busy.

    Hope all you north americans had a good hallowe'en! And hope everyone has a great AF day!

    Hey,
    I'm on board for the November AF thread, and I'm super excited!!!! I just started on antabuse on Wednesday and feel so ready for 30 days. Have fun reading your paper cover to cover. Where I live, it would take me 15min to read our whole paper. hehe. Have a great day.

      Hi,
      I am on board too, went over 60 days then slipped on a 1/2 glass of red wine. Have been AF for a couple of weeks but would love the accountability. Count me in.

        Hi there!

        As I replied yesterday, I am in. I have been feeling pretty good all day but tonight finding myself.....lost. Friends across the street asked everyone over for drinks and not my hubby and I. These are the friends that I always drank with. I probably wouldn't have gone, but I hate being left out and then it lead me to thinking about drinking.....blah, blah, blah......maybe I just need to go to bed......I am just going to snuggle with hubby and watch a movie.

        Hope everyone has a good weekend.....Happy AF!!!!!

                    Hi, all!!!! Just got in. It was a long day full of children's festivals and trick or treating. My feet are tired and my thighs are sore from bending over to pick up the bean bags from the toss competition----now isn't that pathetic!!!! My kids did a bobbing for apple competition. It is so fun to watch the differences between the two. The 11 year old dug right in and got soaking wet even to the pants. The 6 year old is more calculated; you could just see his brain burning to figure out his strategy. It is amazing how two children from the same nest can be so different.
                    I hope everyone had a safe, fun Halloween if you celebrate. If not, I hope it was just as great!!!
                    Thanks for being here everyone. I must go wash now; I can smell my feet all the way up here. Gross!!!

                      Good morning everyone!!! Happy November 1st. The weather here is still really warm, so I am hoping to get some things accomplished this weekend; if not, I have a four day weekend the next. I hope it is still nice so I can get some yardwork done. It is in such a need right now. Actually, everything is in such a need.
                      I have a funeral to go to in a few hours. No fun, but I need to show my support.

                            Hi Wally...I didn't receive your PM.

                            Not sure if you remember but way back, we had a Topa conversation.....did you say you ordered some and had a hard time? I ordered some Sept 25th and still haven't received it. I got it to help with cravings and I finally stopped drinking 18 days ago, with no help from Topa, but I am starting to get ansty and could really use the damn stuff. For some reason I am thinking you ordered it, and it took some time to get there.
