[hopeless]

hi ive been on this site on and off for a couple of yrs now excuse puntuaction but here goes say it as it is bought up by achol mum blah blah never drank myself till i was in 30,s why?? mum died of brain hem when she was 56 i was 30 odd hubby ran off with babysitter dad died this yr multi cancers ive had cancer 2 times daughter had cancer once new hubby deep sea fisherman away alot i only drink at nite never think bout it during day but come 7ish can drink a bottle of wine and more if i had it most nites sorry this seems a bit blured but im trying to tell it how it is been this way for 10 yrs or so

Hopeless, glad you came back! And I hope you will change your screen name one of these days soon! Did you have success with the MWO program earlier? What kind of plan have you used, in the past?

A warm welcome back! You paint a vivid picture of the heartache & loss you are enduring. Like you I drank wine & now I realise how much of a depressant it is. Are you in touch with your Doctor about how you're feeling & what's been going on? Many of them are very sympathetic these days.

I'm sure you don't need me to tell you how supportive & helpful everyone on this site is. I'm sure more posts will follow & then maybe you can think about what feels right as a first step for you.

I'm so sorry to hear of the tragic events that you have had to contend with. My poison too was wine. That bottle is only your friend for a few minutes, then it becomes your worst enemy. I lost some people I love as well and what I found that helped me A LOT was to talk about it with others. So, please share if it makes you feel better. We are all here to help you along.
