So so sorry you are going through this One- if you are frantic, I would get to an emergency vet.

Likely to be expensive, but then animals are sometimes.

I would not wish this on you for the world- it sucks but puppies will swallow anything- so difficult to watch with little kids and a pup.

I am praying for you very very hard.

I would forget the food- get the number of an emergency vet, and keep a very close eye.

And in the meantime, get yourself a cup of tea, maybe a bit of toast or something- I know it is the last thing you feel like right now, but making it will keep your mind occupied, and you may have a long night.

I am so sorry for you- if I could take it of your shoulders, I would.

Puppies will let you know when they are ready to start eating again. I agree with Marbs, and DISAGREE with the vet. Vet sounds like an idiot. Never heard of trying to give water to a sick puppy with your hands.

Do you have the emergency vet number ready?

And do you still have cigs? Smoke like a chimney if you need to, have some coke to give tou a boost, and keep posting.

OK- he is a tosser but that can be dealt with later

What I would do now, is get a towel or something, get into bed, and put him next to you on the towel in the spoon position (remember that) then during the night massage his lower tummy very gently just for a few mins to get things moving- if either of you wake up.

Don't worry my love, dogs have very short intestines and lots of stomach acid- he will move it out.

Maybe on you, but who cares,.

I have to go to bed now, but I am praying, but I am sure all will be well. Just get into bed now with him- our energy goes into their little bodies, which I am sure you know from your babies, so just keep positive, he will feel very loved from lying next to you, and he will be fine.

We can pull Wobs to bits in the morning.

Just for your peace of mind put an emergency vet number next to the phone- but the best you can do is lie with him.

Love you O2- hope I have been able to help you a bit, because you have helped me so much.

Just keep the faith- he will be dancing around like nothing ever happened in the morning.

Oh Oney! I SO feel your pain. I went through this exact same thing a few months back with my six month old pup. I was a WRECK. I have double prayers going up for Alfie and you. GOOD JOB on pouring that poison out. Your right it doesn't help and it does make things worse. PLEASE KEEP US POSTED, I'll be worried sick until I hear.
