Michael Crichton died today..........(Wed.)
He was only 66 when he died. So sad.
I loved some of his books.
He was a good author and he wrote about important themes in our lives. Ethics was a big part of his novels.
I will miss him.

Studs Terkel also died this week. His book Working is timeless, though it was published a long time ago. It is a bunch of interviews with people from all kinds of work environments. Amazing insights regarding how peole feel about their work lives.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.Comment

Oh, I'm really sad about Studs Terkel. I used to use "Working" when I was teaching MBA classes to get people to think about the other side of life. And I bought an interview with him called "Speaking of Faith" off i-tunes last year ...... he was in his 90s when it was recorded and it is a very lovely discussion about the rhythms of life and deathNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
