            Great news from your Dr, LTG; that PAD scares me tho! Lucky you on the prescribed nic patch. I wonder how much better they are than OTC? You'll have to keep us posted. My patches should arrive in the mail soon so we can do a "quit" soon. I have to be done with cigs before next weekend.
            Sea, WOW on the tickets; this Mr Tall man is beginning to sound like a "keeper".
            How are Mich and Shelbs doing tdy?
            I am anxious a bit about Alfie...when was Oney's last post?

              Hi Kriger!
              What strength of patches did you order? I am getting 21mg to start, then work it down after a month. And yes, PAD is scary stuff.
              O2M is not online, so maybe she went to get Alfie, or atleast visit him.

                    I would be a lot better today if I knew about Alfie. Poor little Pup. I hope One is okay. I'd be a wreck.

                    LTG nice to get away and clear your head. Is your brother near? Does your Mom get along well with him? I take care of my 82 year old Mom. Thankfully she is in perfect health, except a tad of diabetes, and high blood pressure. But, she lives alone and still drives around a bit. It is ROUGH taking the roll of caretaker istead of being cared for by our parents. I hope my kids will do the same for me. I think right now they would sail me down the river! LOL!!!

                    Great news LTG on your dr. visit. How long can you be in the Cap?

                    Hope to hear about Alfie soon. I'm a bundle of nerves.

                      LTG, I am getting a pkg of 56 patches which step down from 21 mg to 14mg and finally to 7mg. It is enough for 8 weeks. They would have retailed for $280 if I bought them by the two week box thru pharmacy, but I got them thru my Health Ins carrier Cigna for $102. I am excited to have them arrive so I can get going. Last time I tried to quit I had 3 patches and then started in the gum. At day 6 I just caved. I may be wrong but I am convinced I was doing just fine while I had the patch on, so I'm hopeful. Krigs

                          I'm anxious about Alfie too, Mich. I wish Oney would come back...just to tell us what is going on. What a precious little animal to have to go thru surgery so early in life!

                                That's quiet a savings! Husbo is going to quit with me with no patches. I'll be doing the 21147 as well. My copay is usually $9 but don't know if that applies to this as well.
