Here the deal. Up until now, I had to go out of town to buy wine - which made it harder to get. This week voters approved the sale of beer & wine in Irving at the markets. How can I avoid this? I have to shop for food...

thats difficult ltg, but its all down to you i think. there will always be a time when you will be around wine. we cant lock ourselves indoors forever. Its a matter of thinking what the positives and negatives will be if you buy wine. If it was me i could fit the positives on a postage stamp! Maybe write them down, be honest and put it in your bag when you go shopping. When you can feel the urges coming, take it out and read what you know will happen and how you will feel if you buy wine. Write down those morning after feelings.

ltg...you doing great ...try not too worry , i follow the , 'well i wont drink today way of thinking ', i make no plans or promises to myself about tomorrow,its this thinking thats giving me some success , m defo finding it easier as time goes by. If i say to myself never again , it freaks me and that way of thinking does not seem to work for me.
