Popeye, you can do this. As a grandfather of four I know how important it is to succeed. In my case, the grandkids get older and ask why grandpa drinks so much. You make up an answer but then ask yourself who are you BSing, me or them? It's important that we all make this work. I'm 6 days AF and struggling to hang on.

Welcome back Popeye. I too had the same resolution when my Grand daughter was born 15 months ago and IRONICALLY her initials are AF!!! I am just now becoming the Grandma I want her to know.

Oh my!!
I just woke up and logged on to find the most amazing amount of support and good wishes.
Thank you all again. You have given me such hope in the past, and continue to do so.
I'm not going to let myself down, as I have done so many times before. I really can't afford to in so many ways.
I have a great deal to live for and although things seem gloomy I have always been optimistic, often misguidedly so. It's always darkest before the dawn.
Today is another day to prove to myself and others that I can be a decent person.
I am so heartened by all the kindness.
