OK, so... it is REALITY TV!! I get it. Once I had a psychiatrist friend who was addicted to "Survivor." She could not get by an episode without watching, and then she wanted to discuss everyone's pathology with me. hmmm. I watched it ONCE with her.
Sorry to say I must keep up better I have never seen any of those people before in my life... must watch more TV...

WIP, do you know any of these??
Truly, I quit watching TV while I was in grad school, and never started up again... The last regular TV shows I was watching were Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere!!!

Hi Everybody,
WIP, The show sounds like our "survivor" with celebs. This Marathon thing is getting to be serious, isn't it? I would love to come- it would give me a great excuse to lose some lbs and get into some kind of decent shape! Martina IS in great shape isn't she WIP? How old is she getting to be?
Rubes, What a sad event at your property! Keep us posted on what's happening.
I love having all these new Army members showing up and posting...our circle of friends just grows...

Start,
I would love to, but my finances will dictate. If I don't come, can I still train with you all? It will be GOOD for me to get in shape, once and for all (especially after seeing what DoggyGirl has done in the past 6 months). My office staff lady just did a full marathon in Chicago and finished. She is 46 and wasn't in any kind of shape when she started to train- just an average person. She had a foot injury but still did it and finished all 26 miles. I am in awe of her, to be honest."People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the end as to the beginning." Lao-Tzu

WIP, You are right on there. Wouldn't it be great to get everyone together? You have already been training with all your bike riding....I think you're way ahead of most of us.
