    Ive got a new app for my i pod that is a pond in a tropical island. The fish swim around, you can feed them, touch them, stroke the water.All on the screen. Plus if you put it on your speakers, its so relaxing. Just like being on a tropical beach. Sounds silly, but its really theraputic!

      Ummm, the only plan I seem to be able to stick to is being AF. Did my 30 days no problem. October wasn't too bad moderating, although only had 6 days AF but generally stuck to 2 drinks max, think I went up to 4 once - but this month so far I've only had 2 days AF, last night being the second. Let's face it and put it bluntly, I am drinking everyday - that is not moderation and I know it.

        I agree with oney. Its so hard for me to admit that to myself at times, and if theres booze in the house...I will drink it till its all gone!

          At some point, we don't want a lot to drink, we want to drink it all.

          I am not sure when that happened, but it did.

            Its why i often think about those who live with drinkers and how difficult it must be to stay abstinent with it there. Im lucky that i live alone in that respect, cause i know there is no alc in the house, and no ones going to bring any home with them. The temptation then for me would be crippling!

                        I've been considering a rule of not drinking in the house. I don't generally keep AL in the house either, but go out and buy a restricted amount if I want it. But this means I presently visit the offie every day (they know me well, so well their little boy offered me a sweet, LOL!). I know if I set this rule, I'd probably drink twice a month, if that.

                          Brilliant laugh Cinders!!

                          I just posted my registration for an Open University Engineering course that starts in February. It's just the basics, but it adds 30 points to the 240 that I'll need for a degree. It will take years to complete the whole thing but I've been wanting to do something like this for years. It would have cost me ?380, but because I'm unemployed just now it's free. Whooo Hooo!

                            I must confess to being a bit of a loner at the mo. Have been for coffee, but have been turning down invites to go out etc because i just cant trust myself. I know that if i start, ill get plastered! have even given my car to my parents and my card to wish so that the temptation is taken away.
                            I do sometimes think how sad it is, but its something ive got to do at the mo.
