    I always laugh when people say they don't want to go back to school because it will take so much time.

    So, if you don't start now, where will you be a year from now?

    If you do, where will you be?

    Life is like that.

      We have to do what we have to right, guys, right? Pop, glad to hear that news! Never to late, bud! I'm going to take some courses myself next year, once I get to the cabin. 3 colleges, univ., and many art schools within 30 min.

        Just noticing a trend in this thread. SO started off with her plans after job ends, optimistically, Popeye's school & Cym's interest, with Cinders & my support and input, Vlad with a plan, Oney and her new library career (just the beginning, One!). I don't know about the rest of you, but I couldn't be making these plans a year ago, even 6 months ago. My head and heart weren't in the right place. We've come a long way, baby!

                There are so many wonderful people here that I wish we could have an annual meeting, for people who meet anually..(to steal a line from Elizabeth town....) Anyone else see that movie? Orlando Bloom....YUM YUM.

                    I saw Elizabethtown. So quirky. Everyone is slow today! I've been cruising recipes to do a little shopping while I'm out this PM and for Thanksgiving. Not sure when we'll have our meal; DIL, custody, holiday, etc. Girls can't even go to my grandsons birthday party Sat. Got some great recipes, Cym!

                        Oh, I've just seen it all!!!! Women in Hollyweird are having their toes surgically shortened to look better in high heel shoes! AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! My problems are so trivial!!!

                                I do not understand! It's a joke in US, people in Hollywood live in an alternate universe! Sad our teen girls buy in to this shit!!!!Where are the great role models. That's why I admire Jennifer Garner, for one.
