Hanna, our GD, lost her great granddad yesterday. She is coming tomorrow for most of the weekend and I need to do something to help her cope. This is the second death in 2 weeks she has had to deal with.:l

Morning/evening all - I am an early bird this morning, it being 5.45am Thursday down here. Think I went to sleep a tad early last night, but that is OK. Another day in paradise, happy to be clear of head, serene of heart. Have just started to think : Christmas" too. Good thing for me is, while it is the Festive (read: wasted!) season, my alcoholism didn't mind celebrating a cold Tuesday morning in June (!!) or whatever,,,so One Day At A Time for me, folks...Deck the Halls and all that

SOOOO true cy! May I never forget it! Sitting at my puter with a cupa, listening to the first birds of the day and hearing the ocean, instead of hanging out for 7am when the supermarket opens and shamfacedly going to get a bottle, then feeling like a rocket-bloody-scientist afterwards and a lottery winner on the way home - MADNESS!! One thing I know today for me and my children, is thae best amends I make for my miserable past(s) is being sober today ...*Serenity is the calm WITHIN the storm*Comment
