                Hi Again,
LTG, I'm so sorry for Hanna's loss. I will send you both hugs ((((())))).
I like the Christmas hat for the rat idea-thanks LTG.
Teenagers!! What a subject! I'll have to say that my 2 boys gave me no trouble, believe it or not. Neither were drinkers or drugers. I never had to give either one curfews or anything. I lucked out. My problem now with the youngest is "responsibility" issues with money. He's turning 22 next week and doesn't handle $$ very well. The older boy is a banker and plans his financial life far better than I did. It's kind of funny how 2 kids can turn out so differently! My youngest has a bit of a "depression" problem as well, so I watch that pretty close (he is SO much like his Dad it's not funny). Best of luck with yours Limey; they seem to think they know everything at that age! Krigs

Thanks Krigs ...most of the time its fine but he thinks his a big man at 15 and can do what he likes, I was looking for him this morning and his mob was turned off and the fella he said he was staying with said he didnt know where he was and I hate that! When I finally track him down after scraming on the phone to any tom , dick or harry that would listen , he just laughed at the idea of my been worried about him...laughed! I swear , I was up to 90...thought I was going to have a brain hemmorage or something!

                              Army Thread 26th November

                              Hi everybody

Sorry to have been such an unsociable sod lately, but have been in awful pain and sick and stuff- feeling slightly better today, and just catching up on the posts from the last few days from the shop.

I will only post this one because when I tap the keys it must slightly move my head and it hurts, LOL. My fault- I knew something was up with my ear, but thought it would just go away- have basically let it build up for months, so no sympathetic posts please!

I really just wanted to say to Oney (and Limers) that although there is no denying that either of you had developed a drinking problem, as you had, it does not seem to be as advanced as most of us- but then you are younger than some of us old fogies here.

But, and I know some will disagree I think you are right to have a go at moderating- this 'Shall I, Shan't I?' business will be driving you barmy just by itself- if you decide to have a glass or two while you are on holiday in NY- you may even decide when it comes to it that you don't even fancy one! Personally (I was only there 5 days, so no offense to New Yorkers) I did not find the bars too exciting- I did look for the seediest ones I could find as is my nature, but they were all quite normal and by the time you have walked round all day doing the sightseeing thing- the skyscrapers are absolutely amaaaazing- you will probably be knackered and find drinking isn't really a big issue.

For me at the time I was drinking my normal heavy quota, but did not spend much time drinking- far too much else to see.

Get lots of pennies together- it is also REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!! Take your credit card
